ABOUT ME

An educator’s curiosity.
A developer’s mindset.

I’m Asad Nawaz, based in Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. I work across software engineering education, application development, and research.

Bringing practice
into the classroom.

Software engineering becomes easier to understand when ideas connect to something you can build.

My professional experience spans university teaching, technical training, and software development. I completed my MS in Software Engineering at the Military College of Signals, NUST, and my BS at Mirpur University of Science and Technology.

At NUML, Mirpur, I teach undergraduate computer science and software engineering courses. Alongside teaching, my work at Rising Codes includes desktop applications, web development, and website delivery.

TEACHING

Explain it. Apply it. Reflect on it.

My teaching connects clear explanations with examples, lab work, and questions that encourage students to reason through a solution.

Programming & the web

Programming fundamentals, C++, JavaScript, and web engineering—from basic logic to complete application flows.

Software engineering

Requirements, design and architecture, UML, development processes, and software quality.

Models & formal thinking

Formal methods and model-driven engineering, with an emphasis on precision and understanding system behavior.
